Comparison Of Two Famous People

Comparison Of Two Famous Artist
Madonna and Lady Gaga
The two famous artist I am going to discuss in the following essay are Madonna and Lady Gaga. These singers have belted a large number of wonderful songs which have merited them with a large fan-following list to their credit. Both these singers have managed to set the stage on fire through their famous and great songs.

Madonna was born on August 16, 1958, in the city of Bay City, located in the state of Michigan. Her real birth name is Madonna Louise Ciccone. However, most people know her as simply Madonna. It was during the early stages when she embarked in her career that she shifted to the East Village in the city of New York and worked in movies which did not pay much. A French artist who recognized her inherent vocal abilities took her to Paris as a singer. She is known as a controversial singer, actress, dancer, songwriter, and became one of America's biggest and well-known stars in the late 1980s.

Lady Gaga was born towards the end of March during 1986 as Stefani-Joanne Angelina Germanotta. An American artist Lady Gaga was registered to the Tisch Arts School in the New York University. Lady Gaga rendered her first performances in the Lower East Side in New York City during 2003. She performed as a writer for various artists. However, her capability as a vocal artist was first commended by Akon. One of her first contracts was offered by Akon through his recording tag.

Madonna stayed as the leader of the pop industry for a number of years with no one to match her performance and abilities. With the launch of Lady Gaga in pop music industry, it seemed that finally there was someone who could compete properly with Madonna. At the stage when Madonna entered the industry, it wasn’t the era for fashion and conservative thoughts. Still, Madonna had a huge impact on the audience and the industry. Lady Gaga has also tried to make a good impact in the industry with the fashion and her share of controversies but Madonna is a sure leader with the impact she created. Madonna has been a talented individual with her songwriting skills, dancing and singing skills. Lady Gaga, as a starter is one of the best singers that the industry has seen with her developed singing voice making her more talented star as compared to Madonna.

They are both acknowledged as the “Queen of Pop”; they are provocative, eccentric and innovative in their stage performances; they are both fashion icons; and they are both confident women who don’t really care what the media think of them. Madonna and Lady Gaga, although with nearly 20 years of difference, seem to share many common features and they certainly like each other a lot.
